Personal data we process

JouwCloud processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you have provided it to us yourself. Below is an overview of the personal data we process:

  • First and last name
  • Address details
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • IP address
  • Other personal data you actively provide, for example by creating a profile on this website, in correspondence and by telephone
  • Data about your activities on our website
  • Bank account number

Special and/or sensitive personal data we process

JouwCloud processes the following special and/or sensitive personal data about you:

  • data of persons under 16 years of age

Our website and/or service is not intended to collect data about website visitors under the age of 16, unless they have the consent of parents or guardians. However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is over 16. We therefore advise parents to be involved in the online activities of their children to prevent data about children being collected without parental consent. If you believe that we have collected personal data about a minor without that consent, please contact us at info@jouwcloud.com, and we will delete this information.

The purposes and legal basis for which we process personal data

JouwCloud processes your personal data for the following purposes:

  • To process your payment
  • To be able to call or email you when necessary to carry out our services
  • To inform you about changes to our services and products
  • To deliver goods and services to you
  • JouwCloud analyses your behaviour on the website in order to improve the website and to tailor the range of products and services to your preferences
  • JouwCloud also processes personal data when we are legally required to do so, such as data we need for our tax returns

How long we retain personal data

JouwCloud does not retain your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected. We apply the following retention periods for the following (categories of) personal data:

  • Data of website visitors: 1 month
  • Completed contact form and/or telephone contact after closing a ticket: 12 months
  • Other data until it is needed for processing and the tax authority

Sharing personal data with third parties

JouwCloud does not sell your data to third parties and only discloses it where necessary for the performance of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. We conclude a data processing agreement with companies that process your data on our behalf to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. JouwCloud remains responsible for these processing activities.

Viewing, modifying or deleting your data

You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw your possible consent for data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by JouwCloud, and you have the right to data portability. This means you can submit a request to us to send the personal data we hold about you in a computer file to you or another organisation you have named.

How we secure personal data

JouwCloud takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised modification. If you feel that your data is not properly secured or there are indications of misuse, please contact our customer service or via info@jouwcloud.com.
